SUNDAY SOFT-BOILED EGG WITH COMTE TOAST
Here is the classic of French classics: the soft-boiled egg, with its well-known Comte Toast. Perfect for breakfast, brunch or other quick dinner. It is there to remind us that cooking is above all about taste and conviviality ;)
2 eggs – 1/2 baguette – Comté cheese – salt and pepper
Boil a large volume of water. Immerse the eggs when the water is boiling hard, and count 3 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut the baguette into slices.
Place slices of Comté on the bread, place them on a baking sheet, and put them under the grill for 1 minute (be careful, it colors quickly!).
Place the eggs in the egg cups, remove the upper part, a little salt, pepper...Voila!
