What could be more cheerful, friendly and bursting than a sangria? This Spanish cocktail made with red wine and fruit. It's a drink that we share on the terrace of a cafe with friends, in a relaxed atmosphere… This huge jar where fruit floated and everyone helped themselves. It is festive and informal at the same time… and to be consumed in moderation of course:-)
1 red wine (75 cl)
300ml sparkling water
40g sugar
3 cinnamon sticks
2 oranges
2 lemons
1 apple
50ml Armagnac
ice cubes to serve
Ingredients
Directions
Cut the oranges and lemons into slices and core them. Place them in the bottom of a salad bowl, add the sugar, cinnamon and Armagnac.
Wash and cut the apple into cubes and add it to the salad bowl. Pour over the wine and water and mix. Refrigerate for at least four hours (up to 24 hours).
Present the sangria in the salad bowl and serve well chilled with a ladle so as to be able to recover the fruit.
