Here is a quick, delicious and easy little vanilla cream with only 4 ingredients and which will take you a few minutes.
35cl whole milk
15cl whipping cream
70g sugar
20g corn starch
1 vanilla pod
Directions
Mix the cornstarch with the milk. Pour into a saucepan, add vanilla, sugar and cream. Bring to a simmer for several minutes without stopping stirring until the cream coats the spoon (and looks like a fluid béchamel).
Turn off the heat and pour the cream into small yoghurt or glass or ceramic pots. Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving. These creams can be kept for 24 hours in the fridge, well covered with cling film.
