Olsson’s have blended their hand-harvested sea salt flakes, sourced from the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, with aromatics, herbs, and spices to create a range of dry rubs perfect for marinating meat, flavouring stuffing or seasoning vegetables and seafood. Big Chilli & Garlic is big in flavour and heat! A mix of salt, dried chilli flakes and garlic that can be used in any savoury dish needing a little amplification. Use to season sauces, dressings, marinades and soups, or sprinkle on steak, fried eggs, and potato wedges.
Sea salt rub containing natural Australian sea salt, dried ground ripe Capsicum annum L (Chilli) and dehydrated garlic. Suitable for use on fish, lamb, chicken, pork & beef cuts. Can also be added savoury dishes for extra flavour.
SEA SALT RUBS MAKE EXCELLENT MARINADES AS SEA SALT HELPS MEAT ABSORB FLAVOUR. MEATS THAT HAVE BEEN LIGHTLY BRINED WILL RETAIN MUCH MORE MOISTURE. SEA SALT RUBS ALSO MAKE AN AROMATIC BASE FOR STUFFING MEATS AND VEGETABLES AND AS A GENERAL SEASONING FOR THE TABLE.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
AS A DRY MARINADE: RUB MEAT
WITH OLIVE OIL AND SEA SALT RUB.
(1 TEASPOON PER SERVE)
AS A STUFFING: MIX 2 TABLESPOONS
OF SEA SALT RUB WITH 2 CUPS OF BREADCRUMBS AND 1-2 EGGS.
