FINANCIER SALTED CARAMEL
It's snack time and it's better with salted butter caramel financiers!
3 egg whites
100g icing sugar
80 g ground almonds
100g unsalted butter
1 pinch of salt
12 salted butter caramels
Preheat the oven to 210°C.
Mix the flour, icing sugar, ground almonds and salt.
Pour the egg whites on top (without whipping them) and mix everything together.
Melt the butter until it gets a light “nutty” colour. Pour it into the batter, mix and then pour into the moulds.
Place a caramel on each financier.
Bake for 15 minutes and cook the financiers until golden brown.
